On Monday, March 31, 2025, the Aula Magna of the University of Parma (Via Università, 12) will host the inaugural ceremony of the 2024/25 Academic Year for the Healthcare Master’s Programs. The event, scheduled from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, marks the official launch of advanced training programs in the healthcare sector, emphasizing the importance of innovative and multidisciplinary education.
The ceremony will open with institutional greetings from Prof. Paolo Martelli, Rector of the University of Parma, and Prof. Antonio Bonacaro, Associate Professor of Nursing Sciences and a key figure in the Healthcare Master’s Programs.
One of the most anticipated moments of the day will be the Lectio Magistralis titled “Experiencing Health Today Amidst Complexity and Changes in Italian Society”, delivered by Prof. Edoardo Manzoni, General Director at the Palazzolo Institute in Bergamo. This keynote lecture will provide insights into how the healthcare system is evolving in response to emerging social and demographic challenges.
In the afternoon, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, students will have the opportunity to meet with the tutors of their respective Master’s programs. These meetings will serve as a crucial opportunity for mutual acquaintance, allowing participants to gain a deeper understanding of the course structures, teaching methods, and professional opportunities offered by the programs. More than just an orientation, these sessions will establish a direct dialogue between students and faculty, ensuring a well-informed and guided academic and professional journey.
The inauguration of the 2024/25 Academic Year is not only the beginning of an educational path but also an opportunity to join a network of healthcare professionals engaged in innovation, research, and an increasingly international approach.
For those unable to attend in person, the event will be streamed live on the university’s official YouTube channel (link).
